Our new and ongoing programs for healthcare professionals
A primary care data and quality improvement program developed and managed by NPS MedicineWise with funding support from the Australian Government Department of Health. MedicineInsight supports quality improvement in general practice, post-market surveillance of medicines, Australian health policy and primary care research.
Enabling clinicians, consumers and healthcare stakeholders to start important conversations about tests, treatments and procedures where evidence shows they provide no benefit, or in some cases, lead to harm.
Providing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers and practitioners with evidence-based education on quality and safe use of medicines, medical tests and other technologies. A component of the program will also provide consumer resources to help improve medicines literacy within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
